The 'Cat Pack Student Section T-shirt design contest concluded on Thursday. Designs were submitted and voted on by students throughout the week, and the winning logo came from Melissa Doo of Lexington, Mass.

After many designs were submitted for next year's 'Cat Pack, five were chosen to be voted on by the student body. Voting took place online at www.unhwildcats.com, and at a voting booth that was located in the MUB mailroom on Tuesday and Wednesday. Over 500 student votes were submitted.

The winning design was submitted by Doo, who is a senior WSBE student. Doo's original design won by a slim margin, and will be the official 'Cat Pack T-shirt for next year's student section. Doo will receive a FREE iPod Nano, courtesy of UNH Athletics and Northeast Credit Union. The second place prize goes to a Life Sciences & Agriculture major, Mike DeFelice, of Wakefield, Mass. for his "Welcome to Wildcat Country" design. The 'Cat Pack is the official student section of UNH for all athletic events. Students who show their Wildcat pride and attend UNH games receive points, and will be automatically entered to win various prizes throughout the year. Northeast Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the 'Cat Pack Student Section. Last year's 'Cat Pack winner was Sam Despins, an Engineering and Physical Sciences major.
