iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC One M10

Last year we saw some very interesting smartphones that can be found in the link below. Giants managed to amaze us with a number of innovations and smaller companies have managed to get noticed by cheaper phones, but very good ones. How will the best phones of 2016 be? Pretty good, we say.

In 2016, we expect (or hope) that some companies make some major changes. Rumors about the best phones of 2016 have already started to flow and we’ve heard some good news that we hope will become a reality. In the following lines we’ve tried to compile the details that we found, and if you want, here you can find a list of the best phones of 2015.

iPhone 7

Apple has a very predictable strategy when it comes to launching smartphones. If 2015 brought us a “S” model, with similar design and features to the iPhone 6, in 2016 we will see the iPhone 7, a totally new smartphone. A report from G for Games shows that Apple is testing at least five different models. One of them has a USB connector type C instead of the Lighting port. Obviously, we can also expect an iPhone 7 Plus with 5.5 inch display. Also, it seems that the Cupertino giant is testing touch phones with 3D support, dual cameras and fingerprint recognition directly on the screen. Also, according to recent rumors, Apple plans to use a different material for the casing of the iPhone 7, but it is unclear what could replace the currently used aluminum. Not a big surprise that Apple considers redesigning the iPhone to make it waterproof but it remains to be seen which of the features listed above will be on the final version. Exciting news from the Cupertino company would be launching a “C” model, cheaper and smaller, earlier this year.

Samsung Galaxy S7

Samsung Galaxy S6 was one of the best smartphones in 2015, and Samsung Galaxy S7 certainly would be one among the best phones of 2016, South Koreans made a very brave move and for the first time, launched peaks range phones made from premium materials such as glass and metal. We are pretty sure that Samsung will not change a lot in design, which is normal, but could reintroduce the microSD card slot. Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge version would have 5.2 inch and 5.7, respectively. Moreover, it appears that initially will be made no less than 3.3 million standard versions and only 1.6 million Edge versions in order of launches in February. Samsung would have the support of a company called Synaptics to implement ClearForce technology in the future top phone. This technology allows multiple speeds scrolling modes to unlock the phone to interact with new types of games and more, depending on how much pressure is exerted on the screen.

HTC One M10

HTC has managed to disappoint in 2015. The M9, besides being heating up due to the Snapdragon 810 processor, it failed to shine the the camera chapter or the display one. However, we have high hopes for the M10 model, because Taiwanese have shown that we they still make good phones. About HTC is rumored to have a 6-inch screen of QuadHD resolution, 4GB of RAM and a 20 megapixel camera. Front camera would be 5MP and 3,500 mAh battery. Unlike Note 5, which would beat in the same class, the battery is higher. Moreover, the future HTC would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the best of the company and still officially unreleased. In addition to this HTC version, would prepare one with a smaller 5-inch QHD screen. Taiwanese could even give up the name M10, and two of the names rumored to be for this device are HTC Aero or O2.
