If you are a Fallout 4 fan who has played this game on the PlayStation 4, then we are pretty sure that you were disappointed when you’ve heard that the MODS are not coming to your console.

Bethesda has made an official announcement regarding this where it said that this was Sony’s decision and they can’t do anything about it. However, it seems that the developer is now trying to find a workaround, which means that there are high chances that the Fallout 4 MODS will truly be released for PS4.

According to iTech Post, one of the reasons why Sony has probably canceled the Fallout 4 PS4 mods is the possibility of piracies, exploitations and hacks. It is believed that by allowing these mods to the console, hackers will be able to take advantage of them and hack the device.

However, Sony didn’t want to explain why they had to resort to cancelation instead of just fixing all security issues that might be caused by the Fallout 4 MODS.

According to IBTimes, the support for the Fallout 4 MODS on PS4 is now one of the Bethesda’s main priorities. Pete Hines said on his Twitter account that the studio still wants to bring the Fallout 4 MODS to Sony’s console.

Hines didn’t want to give more information about it, but this confirms that Bethesda is truly working in a way to bring this feature to the PS4 console.

However, that doesn’t mean that the Fallout 4 MODS will truly come to the PS4, as there are very high chances that it will NOT. We hope that the studio will find a workaround for this and as soon as we find more information about this we will let you know!

What are your thoughts about Fallout 4 MODS? Will you use them if they get released for PS4?
