Xiaomi seems to be on a high tide now, since they are releasing phones like there’s no tomorrow. We have just seen the release of the Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and now rumor has it that they are releasing a Xiaomi Mi Note 2 at the middle of November.

The upcoming model should have a full metal body, while the specs show a handset with slightly lower specifications than the previous Mi 5s. It will come together with a 5.5 inches display that includes 2.5 D glass. It runs on a Media Tek SoC that features an octa-core 2.2 GHz CPU.

Also, it runs on MIUI, which means it comes installed with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The device will support 4G LTE connectivity, plus VoLTE. The price will be somewhere between $180-$230 USD.

There have even been some leaked photos of the Mi 5c model if you want to check them out. They show a simple black design, with curved edges, made so as to be comfortable in your hand. You can see a central home button on the bottom and the flash on the back. One of the photos shows the phone with the screen turned on in the settings section. As we can see, the MIUI is, together with all the other specs we previously mentioned.

We have also seen a teaser with the back of a different Xiaomi model, which is a mystery for now. Under the rear camera we can see an E-ink screen placed vertically. Part of it seems to be occupied with the time and date, and we can see the year “2016” and the words “Long Awaited” appearing on the bottom of the teaser. However, will this be a phone that is under development, or a prototype? It remains to be seen.
