Frosh Faces - Brian O'Connor
In a segment new to The New Hampshire, any volunteering freshman who wants to talk about their first experiences at UNH can write about them here in the Frosh Faces blog.
It is designed to be informative for incoming or prospective Wildcats, humorous or compassionate for older students who connect with the stories and a positive space for first-year students who want to get some published writing under their belt in a more informal setting.
This part of the Frosh Faces series is Brian O'Connor's story.

Today for instance, I woke up, had an English class in the morning and met with an academic advisor in the afternoon- apparently it's not required that you meet with your advisor early on, but you'd never know that based off the number of emails the academic advising department sends asking you to schedule an appointment- anyways it was probably a good idea to go in and see what they were on about. Welcome- to UNH students, and anyone that stumbles upon this blog in their internet travels.
Like the header says, I'm Brian- a first year student here at UNH. I'm a journalism major from Hampton, NH (about 20 miles from Durham- near the coast). As we progress with this blog, I intend to keep things interesting -
I'll fill you in on how my freshman year goes: school, dorm life, concerts, parties & anything else that come up along the way. Questions are welcomed if you've got them- otherwise, enjoy the show.
