This fall, vote for a NH Senator from NH
Amusing endorsement to say the least. After you tell us you would never tell some on to vote on party you spend most of your time denigrating the republicans, then Scott Brown and then that Shaheen isn't perfect. If you're going to endorse someone one would expect to hear why you want others to vote for her. You rail against outside money when 75% of Shaheen's money is outside money, just go to opensecrets.com to see for yourself. Both candidates attract the interest of business and well heeled donors like Soros and Koch. Shaheen was talking about the peoples pledge to limit outside money while campaigning for it on a west coast fund raising tour, so she and you can keep the self righteous indignation.
The carpet bagger issue is a red herring; people no longer stay in one state their whole life and less than 50% of NH residents were born here. I'm a 30 year Massplant and I'm comfortable with others who move to NH by choice. Most of us want to be here for the Live free or Die spirit of our state's motto. NH is a uniquely purple state shaped by its staunch fiscal conservative, limited government individual rights sprit. I voted for Shaheen 3 times for governor when she was a strong conservative Democrat who resided in the political middle, but that changed while she was at the Kennedy School of Government and she went full progressive on us. She won in 2008 based on her governor voting record and Obama coattails. This cycle she be running on her Senate Washington progressive record that gave us Obamacare before it was ready.
I'll vote for NH values; staunch fiscal conservative, limited government and individual rights. That vote belongs to Scott Brown who has proved it by being the most bipartisan member of congress, refer to politifacts for confirming.
