How do your professors rate?

Anyone who has ever taken a class at UNH knows the drill at the end of the semester. The teacher hauls out a folder full of Scantron sheets and passes one out for each student to fill in and write comments on. The system is one of the major components of a professor's evaluation process each academic year.

As the economy continues to plummet and jobs become increasingly scarce, more students are choosing to attend business, law or graduate schools as a ways of riding out the economic storm. UNH is responding by drawing up plans for a new business college and a merger with Franklin Pierce Law Center.

November 4, 2008 may well be remembered as a historic day in American history. Barack Obama ascendancy to the highest office in the land is already being called many things; a victory for civil rights, a Democratic mandate, the dawn of a new era for American politics.
