Men's
Kevin regan • Men's Hockey • Senior Goalie
Regan was named a Hobey Baker finalist, a first team All American, Hockey East Player of the Year (unanimous selection), and selected to the All-Hockey East First Team. He posted a 2.21 GAA and a .930 save percentage, which ranked sixth nationally. The senior netminder garnered the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week seven times this season. Regan leaves as the career leader in wins (70), saves (3,235), save percentage (.928), and minutes played (6598:31). Regan is the only goaltender in UNH history to capture back-to-back 20-win seasons.
Women's
Sam Faber • Women's Hockey • Junior Forward
Faber was the recipient of the Karyn Bye Award as the team MVP. Faber led the team in both assists (24) and points (49) for the second consecutive year; she also led the team in plus/minus (+41), game-winning goals (13) and shorthanded goals (three); furthermore, Faber ranked second in goals (25). Faber led the nation in game-winning goals and was second in shorthanded goals, 10th in goals (0.66 gpg) and 13th in points (1.29 ppg). Faber's 2008 Hockey East accolades included Tournament MVP, First-Team All-Star and TPS Hockey Player of the Month (November and December).
