There was no real competition here, as the Women's Hockey team had the most successful year amongst UNH athletic teams. They simply demolished opponents this past season, going undefeated in the Hockey East , finishing with a record 20-0-1, which included an 18 game unbeaten streak. They only lost four games overall. They were consistently ranked first or second in the country, and won the Hockey East regular season title and their third-straight conference tournament title.

Led by team MVP Sam Faber, the Wildcats scored a jaw-dropping 158 goals while only allowing 41. Faber dished out team-highs with 24 assists and tallied 49 points. Freshman Jenn Wakefield also had an outstanding offensive season, leading the Wildcats in goals with 27.

The defensive side was held down by freshman goalie Kayley Herman, who was elected team Rookie of the Year. In 34 games, she allowed only 36 goals, good for a 1.07 goals against average. She also recorded a 93 percent save percentage. Herman was ranked number one in all statistical categories in the conference.

The Wildcats season wrapped up in the NCAA Frozen Four semifinal game after they fell to Minnesota-Duluth 3-2.
