Ryan Montbleau preaches to a packed house at the Stone Church

By Cara Murphy

Fans of the Ryan Montbleau Band do not lie: they really are THAT good! The band opened up Friday night's co-headlining bill with the Seth Yacovone Band at nine-thirty to a room full of very excited people. This was my first time seeing them live and because we got to the Stone Church early enough to enjoy sound check and the most amazing chocolate chip cheesecake I've ever experienced, I, too, was smiling like an idiot while I was waiting for them to start.

Fewer than 40 feet from the MUB food court, which features Jump Asian Express Cuisine, Biggie's, Godfather's Pizza and of course, Taco Bell, a man who has single-handedly struck fear into the heart of the entire fast food industry brought his message to an overwhelmingly supportive student body at UNH.

All the members do speak fluent French.

By Chris Hislop

Lately there's been quite a buzz surrounding bands that fall into the sub-genre "garage-rock." Sporting such names like The Strokes, The Libertines, Jet, and The White Stripes, there has also been a revival of sorts of pioneering garage bands such as Iggy and the Stooges, The New York Dolls, and The Pretty Things.

Grammy nominations announced, R&B stars expected to walk away blinging Rentables~Top Ten Christmas movies OF ALL TIME!

By Brendan Berube

Along with trimming the tree, hanging the stockings, and tearing open those brightly wrapped packages we all love to see on Christmas morning, holiday movie watching has become an increasingly popular family tradition in America. In an attempt to help readers filter through the yuletide sludge that the film industry inevitably tries to force-feed the public this time of year, I have compiled a list of the 10 holiday films which I feel have stood the test of time, and have rightly assumed their respective places as Christmas classics.
