Whittaker indicted on three charges

Student Kevin Whittaker was indicted on three felony charges in Dover for allegedly striking and killing fellow student Richard J. Hegerich with his car in November. A grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial, and Whittaker faces two negligent homicide charges and a single charge of conduct after an accident.

Feminism and controversy surged throughout campus on March 10. Black and white flyers depicted a drawing of a woman grasping onto a hammer with "FEMINISM" on the handle. UNH students get jail for 2003 baseball riot

Two former University of New Hampshire students and another man have been sentenced to five days in jail for rioting after the Red Sox lost a key game to the Yankees in October 2003. They also were ordered to pay $1,270 each in restitution to the police and fire departments and fined $500.
