Another standard exam question read:
A person of color cannot be racist; however, they can be prejudiced against white people.
a. True
b. False
My friend, always the little egalitarian, answered false. But the correct answer was, of course, true.
My friend had forgotten that “people of color” can’t be racist.
It’s a sad state of affairs here in Durham. Ignorance has triumphed at UNH under the façade of social justice.

1: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2: racial prejudice or discrimination
Note that not once does it mention having power as part of racism, racism is not about power, it's about prejudice.
