The Wildcats field hockey team hosts a two-gameset this weekend, when they take on No. 13 Boston University on Friday night and unranked Providence on Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats are coming off a tough 6-2 loss at the hands of No. 24 Boston College last Sunday.

UNH is tied with Boston University atop the America East standings, with both teams holding a 3-0 record in conference play. The Wildcats are 7-7 on the season, while the Terriers and Friars are 9-5 and 8-6, respectively.

The Wildcats are led offensively by junior forward Hannah Richard. She leads the team in goals (11) and points (26) and has a shooting percentage of .478 on 21 shots. Megan Bozek continues to anchor the team defensively and also contributes to the offense with 15 point, second-best on the team.

Carlie Tarbell has continued her dominance in net, with a 2.51 GAA and a save percentage of .706. She has started every game this season for the Wildcats, only coming out of the game in the closing minutes of a 7-1 blowout loss against Pacific.

The Wildcats are just 2-7 against ranked teams this season. Head coach Robin Balducci wanted to give her young team some experience before the America East Tournament by scheduling non-conference games against top opponents.
