From 7 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 27 and  9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, UNH will be hosting a college fair for high-school juniors and seniors and their families. This college fair is sponsored by the New England Association for College Admissions Counseling.

The fair is going to have representatives from over 230 colleges and universities from small liberal arts schools to large state universities. This is going to give the prospective students an opportunity to explore all of their options, not just one type of school. Each college or university is going to have representatives to talk to about the schools academics and campus life.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to talk to representatives of UNH and will also be able to talk to students and faculty, as well as see the campus.

“This is a great opportunity for college-bound high-school students and their parents to meet with college representatives about admissions criteria, academic programs and costs,” said Sherry Alviso, the senior assistant director of admissions and UNH College Fair coordinator.

The fair is expected to attract 2,000 students over the two days.
