New information from the San Diego Comic-Con International has revealed that the next major update for Pokemon Go may contain the next generation of Pokemon; Niantic and The Pokemon Company have both stated that the next generation will be coming in the next update for the game however, some fans are doubtful.
Pokemon Go still lacks a tracking feature which should be the most important feature in the game; the lack of a tracking system prevents players from finding Pokemon in the world and forces them to chase Pokemon whilst blind.
Niantic has been testing a new tracking feature but this still hasn’t been fully implemented to all players.
While players can expect to see Generation 2 coming to the game very soon, there’s still no simple way to hunt them down in the game.
Other important features such as trainer battles, trading and breeding are also expected to be added over the next few months.
