Best Flash Capable Browsers on iOS devices

TNH Staff · February 5, 2017 · Leave a Comment

If you are the owner of an iOS device, you probably know that Apple doesn’t agree with Flash as a service and thus has not included support for Flash at all in its operating system’s default browser Safari. That might be problematic for some users that want to check out Flash dependent content on the internet.

For anyone that wants a Flash capable browser on their iOS device, we bring you some options that might help you out.

Puffin

Puffin Web Browser is a Safari alternative that comes with support for Flash Player (not on the free version though). If you’re looking to emulate the browsing experience you get on your PC, you can have that on your preferred iOS machine. Puffin Web Browser comes with great rendering performance so that the desktop versions of websites are rendered to suit your device of choice.

Photon

This is another solution for your Flash-less browser issue, and it comes with advanced settings that allow you to configure the quality of the images that pop up, for example. Thanks to its Flash capabilities, you are able to watch videos or enjoy music on your favorite online platform without having to worry about your device not being optimally equipped.

Skyfire

Even though Skyfire doesn’t support Flash in the actual sense of the word, you can use this browser to access video content across the web. It’s a nifty little go-around, and while your Flash problem wouldn’t be resolved fully, you can use this detour to access whatever video content you want to access.  Social media websites and games are some of the focal points of users of this browser.

There you have it. If you’re in need of a solution for watching videos on your iPhone or iPad, you can give any of these solutions a try and see what works for you. Some might find one better while another could appeal to a different group of people. The only way to completely get a feel is by testing their out yourself, and seeing what suits your browsing style or requirements better.
