Soon we will be seeing the rollout of a new update for Fallout 4 and it promises some really interesting new features. They will make the journey through the mods easier and so the game will be more spectacular. Starting with the visual improvements, the versions for PC and PlayStation 4 will now be more appealing thanks to the additions to the Commonwealth Wasteland.
If you are a PS4 owner, then you can expect your version of the game to be officially supported. This means that the draw distance is better, which lets you see more details of the surroundings, such as the trees or other characters who live in the Commonwealth. Along with this, you will also see the Godray effects looking more appealing and at a better resolution. All this information can be found on a recent post published on Bethesda.net.
If, on the other hand, you are a PC player, you must know that you will receive a High-Resolution Texture pack with the upcoming 1.9 update. Once you get to activate it, the pack will let you see amazingly beautiful landscapes found in the Commonwealth like you never did until now!
Regarding the mod tools that are going to be added, the new features are intended to help players choose from the alterations that are available to be used in the game. For example, you have two filters, the Highest Rated and Most Favorited, which will now receive some extra sorting options. Mod Filters will also be enriched with other statistics, according to the information published in a separate post on Bethesda.net.
Other than these, the 1.9 Update will also bring some bug fixes and other minor adjustments meant to make the game play smoother. Steam Beta allows you to check the new features if you’re a PC player, but the full version of it will be rolled out next week.
