With Apple’s iPhone nearing its ten-year anniversary, naturally a myriad of rumors flooded the tech world regarding the possible release of an iPhone 8 to mark this special event. Many Apple enthusiasts have taken to the Internet to speculate on the design and specs the possible launch might bring forth, and it’s true across the board that everyone’s very excited. And, to add more fuel to that excitement, the latest rumors seem to indicate that the iPhone 8 will feature the revolutionary display tech sported by the iPad Pro before it.
iPhone 8 Will Come with True Tone Display Technology
While the True Tone display technology was initially designed as an iPad Pro-exclusive feature, analysts over at Barclays now report that the entire Apple lineup for 2017 will sport that same revolutionary display tech. The move seems to be a pretty good decision on the part of Apple, given the fact that True Tone technology has been praised by many users, and all for good reason too.
This type of technology is so great because it uses four-channel ambient light sensors which help to adapt the color and intensity of the display automatically, which in turn will match the light of the environment you are using the tablet in. Pretty amazing, right? And now, sources declare that future iPhone 7S models together with the much-rumored and desired iPhone 8 will also benefit from True Tone display technology.
If the iPhone 8 will indeed sport this type of display, it will be the most advanced model of iPhone yet. And, besides that, the new installment in the iPhone family is also rumored to have wireless charging, improved battery life, better water and dust resistance and an incredibly fast A11 processor, as well as a number of 3D cameras used for AR purposes and facial recognition.
