According to Android Police, WhatsApp has already begun testing a new feature in beta mode on Android that will let you select and send multiple contacts, all at once.
Now you can only share one contact at a time and, in order to be able to share more contacts, you have to tap on each and every one of them and send them individually, so the new update would spare you lots of time and tapping.
Selecting multiple contacts
First of all, open the chat window where you’d like to share the contacts then select Contact from the attachment icon. After the Contact Window opens, you just have to tap on all the contacts you want to share, and they’ll show up aligned at the top. Go on and press the go button – that green arrow and the next popping window will show contacts’ details. Tap the go arrow.
When you update WhatsApp, you can then try and send more than one contacts to a contact. The interesting and also cool thing is the fact that you won’t find any limit in the number of contact that you’re able to select for sharing. Even if you’re going to select, let’s say 50 contacts, it will all go smoothly, and you’ll probably be able to select even more if you choose to do so.
You should also know that WhatsApp has recently introduced the ability to share more than 10 photos in the chat, all at once. Now you can enjoy selecting and sending up to 30 photos in the chat app, and we think that’s pretty cool considering that everyone is dying to share photos these days. iOS users can also align messages even when they are offline, and the messages will be delivered when you connect your device to the Internet.
It seems WhatsApp is only doing great things for its users, and we really don’t mind; on the contrary, we’re looking forward for more updates.
