TNH Staff · November 25, 2017 · Leave a Comment

The brand-new 2018 Rush model was recently unveiled during Toyota’s event which took place in Indonesia. The new car looks amazing and it can be categorized as a compact SUV. Furthermore, Toyota’s 2018 Rush is packed with tons of features and cool equipment such as a new front grille with chrome slats, redesigned headlamp clusters and a rectangular front bumper. Additionally, we need to mention that Toyota Rush is a relaunched version of the Daihatsu Terios.

Under the Hood

Leaving 2018 Rush’s sleek design aside, the car is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 103 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. Regarding transmission, the engine is either going to be mated with a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car will also feature ABS (anti-lock brakes) which are bundled with EDB (electronic brake-force distribution). Moreover, the premium spec model will also feature six airbags for passengers.

The Interior

Toyota cars are renowned for featuring some of the most exquisite interiors which are often packed with cool tech features that make driving a more enjoyable experience. With that said, the new SUV will be equipped with a 7.0-inches touchscreen infotainment system that’s smartphone compatible because it ships with Weblink and Miracast.

In addition, the car will also feature the traditional USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity ports. Getting in a 2018 Rush will truly feel special because the car’s upholstery comes in a two-tone color scheme and Toyota made sure to equip the car with keyless entry and a start-stop button.

January 2018 Launch Date

Even though the car has been recently unveiled, this doesn’t mean that interested customers can purchase it yet. Toyota announced that 2018 Rush will be available for purchase starting January 2018 onwards.
