You might be one of the many GTA 6 fanatics who are always on the lookout for its big release in 2018. Well, that might make sense because Rockstar Games will be finally releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 in October 2018. That said, you simply can’t blame people looking forward to GTA 6.
However, you are going to wait a bit longer for the release date of GTA 6. In fact, some reports were pointing to an even later date, which means it could be sometime in 2020 to release the next Grand Theft Auto. If you analyze the pattern carefully, GTA 5 had a multiplayer component named GTA Online, which has received regular content updates since its launch in September 2013.
So, if the Red Dead Redemption 2 will have an online component similar to that of GTA Online, then you can say that Rockstar is going to be busy working on it for the next few years. Since the release of GTA Online, Rockstar is ready to do Red Dead Redemption 2, which after 3 years will finally release GTA 6 in 2020.
An even longer waiting time has been described by a reputable industry analyst named Michael Pachter, which could bring in the game in no later than 2022. Pachter believed that the best case scenario could be an announcement to happen in 2021 and a 2022 release date or later.
You might not even get any trailers from Rockstar Games regarding the release of GTA 6 because the company is so secretive. If you can remember it right, Rockstar has made announcements a few days before releasing the first trailer for either GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2. If ever there is an upcoming release for GTA 6, then an influx of information will buzz around the Web even without looking for it.
