Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release Date, Specs and Features Comparison

TNH Staff · October 18, 2016 · Leave a Comment

We know that there are Microsoft customers waiting for some news about the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5. However, Microsoft has made it clear up that they will focus intensively on developing the Windows 10 and the Xbox One consoles.

Many tech bloggers expect Microsoft to take the opportunity to present or at least announce the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 at their New York event which will be held on the 26th of October. But there are very few chances of that happening as the company wants to highlight other software and hardware that they are offering.

What we know for sure about the event is the Microsoft will present the cloud based solutions offered by the new OS which will enable users to access their Microsoft accounts on notebooks, PCs and smartphones. The only condition is that all of those devices run Windows 10.

Microsoft is also believed to showcase a Surface all-in-one desktop at the event that will demonstrate exactly what the Windows 10 OS can do. And this may end up being the only mention of a Surface device.

You might thing that this other all-in-one device might replace the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 but most tech bloggers and analysts don’t believe that so there’s no reason for anyone else to worry. They are completely different types of devices even though they share the ‘Surface’ name

Not to mention that the Microsoft Surface Pro devices are seen as some of the best ones available. So the situation is that the Microsoft Surface all-in-one desktop device will be the first one of its kind and will open up new device lineup completely independent from the Surface Pro.

The Surface Pro 5 is rumored to be released sometime in 2017, so there’s still a lot of time for Microsoft to announce the device.
