What better way to maximize your Android device’s potential than to populate it with apps? With a wide range of applications available, from games to a smart organizer, your smartphone or tablet can become an extension of your life and daily activities.

So how do you download and install apps?

How to Download and Install Android Apps

  • Make sure you have Google Play Store installed on your device. It’s usually pre-installed in most Android devices, but check anyway.
  • Make sure you are connected online.
  • On the search bar, type in the app you are looking for. If not, browse through all apps available by tapping on a specific category, such as Top Charts, Games, Editor’s Choice or Movies, Books, Newsstand.
  • Tap on the app you’ve chosen and then tap Install.
  • Tap Accept to approve access permissions.
  • Tap Open when prompted, once download and installation is complete. This will launch the application, which you can use and enjoy right away.

Note: Read reviews before downloading an app, so you’ll know it is worth your storage space and bandwidth.

Follow the same process for when you want to add more apps to your list. You can get as many as you want, provided there’s still enough room for them and for future updates.
