The Google Play Store version 6.0.5 has been released and it can be now downloaded and installed on your Android device. The Google Play Store usually comes pre-installed on all Android devices, but there are still some of them that don’t have it.
Downloading Google Play Store 6.0.5 To Your Android Device
The Google Play Store version 6.0.5 comes with a new font in the search panel along with other changes based on the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow. To install the Google Play Store 6.0.5 on your Android device, you will need to manually download the APK (installation file) from the internet and install it on your Android device.
However, make sure that you download the Google Play Store 6.0.5 APK file from a trusted website or else you may end up with a malware file on your Android device.
Installing Google Play Store 6.0.5 APK On Your Android Device
After downloading the Google Play Store 6.0.5 APK file to your Android device, you will need to manually install it. Since the APK file has been downloaded from a third party source, you will need to enable the “Unknown Sources” option.
Depending on the Android OS version that your device is running, you will find the “Unknown Sources” option in either Settings->Applications or Settings->Security. To enable “Unknown Sources” you will just need to check the box that’s in front of the option.
Once the “Unknown Sources” option is enabled, you will have to go to the location where you’ve saved the Google Play Store 6.0.5 APK file and tap on it to start installing the latest Google Play Store version on your Android device. Once the installation is complete, you will just need to use your Google Account and start searching for applications and games directly from the Google Play Store.
