The GTA fans have a reason to be happy, and not so happy at the same time. The GTA 6 is under development, but the rumors say that it might be released in 2018, with two years earlier than predicted. Moreover, speculations revolve around the female protagonist which is expected to be played by Eva Mendes, Ryan Gosling’s real life partner. Rumors say that the actor signed for the lead protagonist and that the developers listened to their players’ suggestions to bring a woman in the game, so it’s very likely that they will propose Eva Mendes to enliven the female character. Anyway, all maps will be combined into one big map, so if you’re not in the mood to follow missions, you’ll wander around the city for as long as you want.
Yes, it’s happening, Rockstar is currently developing the GTA 6 and according to VermillionDemonFox, a Reddit user, the new game will have a unique map, which will contain all GTA maps. The user said that in the southwest area you’ll find San Andreas and in San Andreas territory will be Las Venturas, while instead of San Francisco you’ll have San Fiero in the northern part of San Andreas. In the right side of Las Venturas will be placed Vice City and at the top of it will be found Liberty City.
This leak is backed up by the older statement of Rockstar Producer’s Leslie Benzies, who said in 2012 that the game will have a big map which will contain all main cities that have been visited so far.
If GTA 6 will be released on PS 5, this won’t happen sooner than 2020, but most likely, the game will adapt to the new and more powerful features that will be added to the upcoming console and this is why the developers are taking into consideration the idea to expand the map and to higher visual quality. Perhaps in GTA 6, the players will face extreme weather conditions such as earthquakes and other natural disasters.
