Google Play Store 6.1.12 Update Download Available – Thumb For Quick Positive

TNH · February 7, 2016 · Leave a Comment

The latest update of Google Play Store was released two weeks ago and by now, most of the Android users have received it. If you’re one of the unlucky users, then you’ll need to wait a little bit longer, because the update is rolled out in phases and it reaches devices sooner or later, as it depends on three conditions: the model of the phone or tablet, the Android version and the region the users are in. So, what changes did the Google Play Store 6.1.12 bring?

If you haven’t received the latest Google Play Store update yet, don’t worry, because you can download the APK file from reliable websites such as APK Mirror. Version 6.1.12 is compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it can be installed on devices that run on custom ROM ports based on the images of the latest Android firmware.

One of the changes you will notice in Google Play Store 6.1.12 is the thumbs up buttons you’ll find in the review section. Also, the developers have placed the spam button into a side menu, so now, the Reddit-like system is gone, as the setup was modified to be similar to Facebook.

When you agree with reviews written by other people, you can tap the thumb icon and if you think that the review is spam, then there’s the spam flag inside the small menu, next to the thumb icon, on which you’ll tap to report the review.

Recently, the Google’s employees have made another change to this application, such as the ability to add promo codes into applications and games, so that the users can download free items. This feature was added for the developers and it was very appreciated by their users.

If you want to download the Play Store App (6.1.12) from the internet, you should know that the file has a size of 14.48MB, the phone or tablet must run on at least version Android 2.1+, otherwise the applications for the official Android store won’t work.
