Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs. LG V10 – Which One Wins The Battle?

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and LG V10 are two big-sized smartphones that come with some good specifications. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been released last month, while the LG V10 arrived in October 2015. Today we’re going to compare these two devices and let you decide which one suits your needs better.

Designs

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 measures 150x76x8.7mm and weights 164 grams. The phone has a full metal body slightly curved on the edges, there’s a circular fingerprint button under the rear camera and the bezels are very slim. On the other hand, the LG V10 measures 159.6×79.3×8.6mm and weights 192 grams. Its back is made of a textured rubbery material and the fingerprint scanner is located under the camera, as well.

Displays

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 403 ppi. The LG V10 comes with a bigger IPS LCD display of 5.7-inch that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 515 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. On top of it is a secondary display of 2.1-inch with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels, which offers shortcuts for the most used applications or the time, the date etc.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 chipset, a hexa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.4GHz and a dual-core Cortex A72 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, an Adreno 510 graphics card and it’s available in two RAM variants of 2GB and 3GB. The LG V10 has a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset, a hexa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.44GHz and a dual-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 1.82GHz, an Adreno 418 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.

Storages

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been released in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB, which can be expanded up to 200GB using a microSD card. The LG V10 comes in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, but you can expand it up to 200GB using a microSD card.

Cameras

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports a primary camera of 16MP that features dual-LED flash, autofocus, face detection, HDR, panorama, face detection, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP. The LG V10 has a primary camera of 16MP that features OIS, LED flash, laser autofocus, HDR, panorama, face detection, geo-tagging and a duo camera of 5MP on the front side.

Batteries

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a non-removable battery of 4000 mAh, which is more powerful than the 3000 mAh non-removable battery that’s powering the LG V10 handset.
