Recently, Mozilla has launched the Firefox 52.0 version for Linux, Mac and Windows. Soon enough we should also see the Firefox 52.0 for Android too, and many fans are anticipating it. But what’s the thing with it?
Specs and Novelties
Firefox 52’s main feature seems to be the fact that it allows you to send tabs to other devices you have synced. Besides this, the team made various improvements for the Downloads button, plus they introduced some enhancements for security and for the developers. You should also know that it represents the final release for the Windows XP and Vista systems.
Perhaps the feature that most delighted its users is the fact that it brings extended sync features. As previously mentioned, you can now send and open tabs on various devices simply by syncing them together, which is extremely useful. You just have to sign in and to set up your sync, and after these steps are done, you have to click right on a tab and choose the option Send Tab to Device. You will also see the list of device you have synced, so that you can choose where to send the tab.
One important thing to notice is the fact that you will see the Firefox version on the target device even if it doesn’t offer support for the feature, such is the case with Firefox for iOS, for example. If the version is supported, then it will show the tab magically on the second device, and you will see a notification.
Download
The 52.0 version can be downloaded for free for Linux, Mac and Windows. Soon enough we should also receive Firefox for Android 52.0, which is quite a minor update, bringing better audio controls, together with a small APK file installed that makes download and installation processes faster.
