The New Hampshire is published Tuesdays and Fridays during the academic year. 6000 copies are distributed free to dorms, libraries, academic buildings, dinning halls, as well as to select businesses in Durham and Dover, NH.

Inserts are charged at a rate of $120 per 1,000, a minimum qty of 4,000 and maximum of 6,000. We insert only on Tuesdays and allow only one insert per issue. All pre-printed inserts must be submitted for approval to The New Hampshire at least 3 weeks prior to publication date. Maximum Size 8 ½” x 11”, single sheet or folded @ minimum weight 70lb. Once approved, pre-printed inserts must be shipped directly to the printer 7-10 days prior to publication:

ADVERTISING DESIGN AND PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Advertising material must be at The New Hampshire office by 1 p.m. on Tuesday for Friday’s paper and 1 p.m. on Friday for Tuesday’s paper.
IN-HOUSE ADVERTISING DESIGN
There is no charge for basic typesetting and ad layout. Proofs will be furnished upon request. Please allow seven working days prior to publication.
Advertising material must be either in hardcopy or on computer file. Hardcopies should be ink jet or laser prints. We do not accept faxes or photocopies.
Computer files must be in *.PDF format – Adobe. (We can also accept Microsoft Word and PowerPoint formatted files. We can no longer accept Publisher files, our apologies.)

ADVERTISING SALES POLICIES
Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Checks may be made payable to The New Hampshire. There will be a $25.00 charge for all returned checks. All classifieds must be paid in advance.
Page placement is neither sold nor guaranteed. Requests are honored whenever possible to do so.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
All copy changes, insertion date changes and ad cancellations must be submitted and acknowledged by us before the advertising deadline of the intended publication date. No refunds will be given on advertisements that are cancelled after those deadlines.
In case of error or omission, the Advertising Manager must be notified within seven (7) business days of the advertisement’s appearance in the paper to be considered for a makegood.
The New Hampshire’s liability, if any, will not exceed the cost of the space occupied by the error, and the credit will be for the first incorrect insertion only.
The New Hampshire is not responsible for incorrect copy submitted by the advertiser or for any typographical errors which do not lessen the value of the advertisement. The original copy and/or ad creative and any instructions must be legible and clear. The Advertising Manager and the Editor in Chief will base adjustments on the percentage the error detracts from the effectiveness of the total advertising message as determined. The New Hampshire’s liability shall not extend to advertisements that do not appear or to copy changes made by telephone.
All advertising must be accompanied by the advertiser’s contact name, mailing and billing address, telephone number and email address. We reserve the right to refuse any advertising contract that does not include this information.
We do not accept classified advertising over the telephone or by postal mail.
The editorial and advertising staffs of The New Hampshire reserve the right to reject at any time any advertisements submitted for publication. This is based on a joint decision between those two staffs. This includes paid inserts.
