PLEASE NOTE:

There is a $10.00 minimum for all classified ads.
If calculated as less than $10.00, you will be prompted to revise your ad.
Simply add more words or another publication day.


  • SUMMER Submission Information


  • During summer break all classified advertisements will appear online only for 10 days. The New Hampshire does not produce a print edition over the summer break.
  • Classifieds can only be submitted online and payment made online during summer break.
  • The cost of Classified Advertising is .40 per word. There is a $10.00 total sale minimum. (UNH Students, scroll down - there is a section just for you!)
  • Online Payment is the only payment option available during summer break as our administrative offices are closed and we cannot process offline payments in a timely fashion.
  • All classified ad sales are final.
  • There is a 150 word limit per ad.
  • The 'Highlight' option will display the 'headline' of your ad in bold online only and is $2.00 for 10 days of online advertising (equivalent to 1 hard copy edition of the paper).

  • All classifieds submitted will be subject to review prior to publishing.
  • The editorial and advertising staffs of The New Hampshire reserve the right to reject, at any time, any advertisement submitted without prior notification to the advertiser. If an ad is refused and a payment has been processed, a refund will be given.
  • All advertisers must provide a contact name, mailing and/or billing address, telephone number and email address. An advertisement will be refused without this information.
  • No refunds will be given on advertisements that are cancelled before the end date.


  • We do not accept classified advertising over the telephone, via email or by postal mail.
    • If a request is submitted to us by means other than this website we cannot guarantee a response. Our apologies.

    • Payment Options


    • Online Payments
      • When paying online we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
      • Using online payment requires a secure browser. Please make sure your browser is up to date with the latest upgrades.

      Offline Payments
      • We cannot accept offline payments during summer break. Our apolgies for any inconvenience.
      • This option will be available again as of 8/17/04.

    • UNH Students, Undergraduate or Graduate

      • To qualify for the current classified ad benefit, all students must:
        • become registered users TNH Online
        • declare their graduating year
        • Email your ad to and we'll do our best to get your ad up in a timely fashion.

    • ALL STUDENT ADVERTISERS WILL BE VERIFIED.
    • Students submitting advertisements promoting for-profit or non-profit organizations or non-verifiable third parties will be refused.

    • UNH Depts and affiliates may place classified ads using their 'P' Cards over summer break. We cannot extend your University Dept. benefit if you choose this option, however.
    • We cannot accept offline payments during summer break. We cannot, therefore extend the UNH faculty and staff discount. Our apolgies for any inconvenience.

    Classified Advertising Makegood Policy
    In case of error or omission, the Advertising Office must be notified within three (3) business days of the advertisement's appearance our website to be considered for a makegood. The credit will be for the first incorrect insertion only. The New Hampshire is not responsible for incorrect copy submitted by the advertiser or for typographical errors.
