First period kills UNH's conference hopes

Senior Preston Callander celebrates his goal Saturday night on Senior night. It was Callander´s 18th goal of the season.
Sometimes you just don't get the bounces you need. What seemed like déjà vu from a week ago against Boston College, the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team came out of the gates flying, but has nothing to show for it. Boston University, however, found it twice in the first period and battled a fierce UNH team in the third to hold on for a 3-2 victory at the Whittemore Center Saturday night.

 

'Cats still tie with dominating weekend

The University of New Hampshire women's hockey team swept Boston College this past weekend, giving the Wildcats a split of the regular season Hockey East crown with Providence College. UNH completely demolished the Eagles on Saturday in a 10-2 victory at the Whitt.

What has happened since you have last heard from me? Well the New England Patriots have dumped two of their star players, Antoine Walker has been denoted as the new savior of Boston, and Tiger Woods is back on top of the golfing world. Oh yeah, and there's this little thing called March Madness that starts up next week.
