A few days ago, we were telling you that 3K Assistant, TaiG’s jailbreak partner, has posted a report about the status of the iOS 9.2 jailbreak, giving hopes to the fans who are anxious to get their hands on the latest jailbreak tool from TaiG. In that report it was confirmed that the group of hackers will provide an untethered jailbreak solution, but recently, the post has been edited, and the jailbreak confirmation is no longer found in the post.
The original announcement from 3K took everyone by surprise, but the jailbreak community was a bit skeptical regarding the breakthrough on iOS 9.2. This is what the report (written in Chinese) contained: “
“iOS 9.2 official version has been released from the past eight days, and in eight days, 3K Assistant has been working hard on jailbreaking iOS 9.2. The effort has finally been rewarded as after eight days of struggle, 3K Assistant has made a breakthrough on iOS 9.2 jailbreak.
Although the jailbreak is still not complete, but I believe that in the near future, iOS 9.2 jailbreak will be released for everyone. Please be patient.
There will soon be a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2. It is just a matter of time only.”
Without any warning or explanations, the authors have edited the original message, which means that 3K Assistant has made the mistake of publishing positive news and giving false hopes to the users who can’t wait to get their hands on a tool to Jailbreak iOS 9.2. And this is what the edited 3K text says now:
“It has been many days since iOS 9.2 was officially release. It is believed that the jailbreak team has been working hard on jailbreaking it. However, at this moment, jailbreaking iOS 9.2 has not succeeded yet. Fellow jailbreakers, please be patient in looking forward to it. If there is any update on the progress, we will follow up instantly.”
The users are now very angry and frustrated, and lost their confidence in 3K Assistant.
