Top 5 Cydia Tweaks for iOS 9 to Improve the Performance of your iPhone

TNH Staff · January 5, 2016 · Leave a Comment

If after jailbreaking your iOS 9, you notice that your iPhone runs slower than before, then you should use some tools that Cydia comes with in order to improve the performance of your device.

The iOS 9 jailbreak was released in October 2015, a month after the iOS 9 was released. Currently, there is a jailbreak that’s compatible only with the iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2 versions. There are also rumors that a jailbreak for the iOS 9.2 is right around the corner. Today we’re going to give you top 5 Cydia tweaks that you can use your jailbroken iPhone that runs on iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 or iOS 9.0.2.

Tatton

iOS 9 comes with a cool design feature that adds various amount of blur when you access the application switcher or spotlight search. However, these animations will use a good amount of resources and could make your smartphone to be slower than before. Well, don’t worry, because Tatton tweak can fix this issue as it removes these blurs in order to make the iOS a bit faster.

We remind you that you will most likely not notice a bug difference once you install it, but combined with other performance boosting tweaks you will surely improve your iPhone’s speed.

SpeedIntensifier

You can also speed up your iPhone by increasing the speed of the animation that it plays. When you open an application, a folder or the app switcher, iOS will play an animation to make it look pretty. Well, these animations can be sometime a bit too slow, which can be quite annoying. Well, by using the SpeedIntensifier tweak, you will be able to speed up these animations and make your device “react” faster than before.

Keep in mind that this application doesn’t improve the overall performance, but at least it makes the navigation to be faster than before.

iCleaner

In time, your iPhone will accumulate a lot of junk files. It is better to keep these junk files away from your smartphone, as they use a lot of space and can also cause some lag issues on your iPhone. If you’ve been using CCleaner on your computer, then you should know that iCleaner is almost similar and it will delete any junk file that you don’t need on your smartphone.

You can also purchase the Pro version of the tweak by paying a few dollars, but we assure you that it will totally worth it.

CacheCleaner

CacheCleaner is a tweak that will clear out all caches from any application you choose. In addition, the tweak comes with a reset option, which will restore the applications to the original downloaded version. We remind you that applications’ cache is using RAM and it slows down the smartphone. However, from now on, you can use CacheCleaner to fix this issue.

Nitrous

This is probably one of the best tweaks to boost performance on iOS. This tweak gives apps access to the Nitro Javascript engine, which was only available in Safari, which made the Safari browser one of the fastest browsers.

Unfortunately, once the iOS 8 was released, Apple has made Nitrous useless, but that’s if the app developers updated their application to run on the newer API from Apple. However, there are still some applications that haven’t been updated yet and you can use the Nitrous tweak to speed them up.
