After Apple has released iOS 9, there was only one jailbreak release and Pangu managed to achieve that in October, last year. Shortly after that, Apple has brought the iOS 9.1 update and all exploits have been closed up and now that the iOS 9.2 is here, the users are waiting for Pangu to publish the jailbreak. Meanwhile, Luca Todesco posted on Twitter (@qwertyoruiop) that he jailbroken iOS 9.2.1 on his iPhone 6, showing a screenshot of Cydia running iOS 9.2.1.
There are many users who are anxious to get their hands on the iOS 9.2 jailbreak, especially that lately, many rumors circulator on the internet about the new jailbreak and it’s not sure if they’re real or just hoaxes. In reality, we have no solid information about the iOS 9.2 Jailbreak and we don’t know if and when it will be released.
Meanwhile, after TaiG’s affiliate 3K Assistant said that the jailbreak will come soon, new rumors started revolving around the Chinese hacking team’s activity and the users were pretty sure that the hackers will fulfill their dream. Unfortunately, what 3K Assistant wrote on a Weibo post (“iOS 9.2 official version has been released from the past eight days, and in eight days, 3K Assistant has been working hard on jailbreaking iOS 9.2. The effort has finally been rewarded as after eight days of struggle, 3K Assistant has made a breakthrough on iOS 9.2 jailbreak”) was false information and the post was immediately removed. Now, in that post it is said that TaiG “has not [succeeded] yet” in jailbreaking iOS 9.2, so the users are advised to be patient and to wait until the hackers will make progress.
The hackers must hurry, because once the iOS 9.2.1 will be released, there are chances that the release of the iOS 9.2 jailbreak will be blocked. Anyway, until now, Apple has released the second beta of iOS 9.2.1 and soon the final version will arrive, so there’s not much time left for the hackers to make progress with the jailbreak of the iOS 9.
As we were saying in the introduction, Luca Todesco (@qwertyoruiop) already managed to jailbreak iOS 9.2.1 and he posted the proof on his Twitter account, but he didn’t say anything about releasing the jailbreak.
