2016 year has just started and it seems that Minecraft has already reached another milestone. According to Mojang, the developer of Minecraft, the PC version of this game has reached 22 million sold copies.
According to GameSpot, over 14.000 copies of Minecraft (PC version) were sold in only 24 hours. For now, the PC version of Minecraft remains the most complete of all the versions of this game.
We also remind you that the Minecraft: PS4 Edition, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition have received big updates lately.
At the end of 2015, Mojang has released a new big update for all the four Minecraft editions we’ve mentioned above, dubbed as “Minecraft 1.8.8 update”. This update comes with many new features and items, which brings the Minecraft console versions a bit closer to the PC version.
Unfortunately, the Minecraft: PS Vita Edition players will need to wait a bit longer for this update. We’re not sure yet when this console will receive this major update, but we’ll let you know as soon as we will find out.
At the same time, Mojang has decided to bring Minecraft to Nintendo Wii U, but according to rumors, this will happen sometime in 2016. And since it will take so long until the Minecraft for Nintendo Wii U will be released, we should assume that the console will receive at least the 1.8.8 version of the game.
We also remind you that the Minecraft: Story Mode latest episode was released on December 22, 2015 and it’s named “A Block and a Hard Place”. If you are a Minecraft fan, we’re pretty sure that you will enjoy playing the Story Mode series, so purchase it right away. Currently, you are able to play the first four episodes: “The Order of the Stone”, “Assembly Required”, “The Last Place You Look” and, the one we’ve just told you about, “A Block and a Hard Place”.
On January 15, 2016 a new and last episode of “Minecraft: Story Mode” will be released and it will be named “Order Up!”.
