WhatsApp is currently one of the most used mobile messaging applications out there, having over 900 million monthly active users and counting. A big amount of users have registered to this application when it received the Voice Calling feature, which was expected for quite a while.
The year has just started and it seems that the developers of WhatsApp have already continued working on this application. This time, the developers have released the WhatsApp 2.12.398 APK, which improves the stability of the application and fixes a few bugs that were found by the developers or reported by the users.
We remind you that according to some leaked photos, the WhatsApp application will soon receive the Video Calling feature, which will most likely make a big amount of users to install this application on their smartphones. If this is true, the WhatsApp Video Calling feature will most likely be added to the smartphones that run on either Android, iOS, Windows Mobile or BlackBerry 10.
WhatsApp 2.12.398: How To Install On Your Android Device
The WhatsApp 2.12.398 is currently in BETA phase, which means that’s not available on the Google Play Store. However, don’t worry, because you will be able to manually download it and install it on you Android device.
However, before you download the APK (installation) file of the WhatsApp 2.12.398, you will have to enable the “Unknown Sources” option that’s found in either Settings->Applications or Settings->Security (it depends from an Android OS version to another).
Once the “Unknown Sources” option is enabled, open the web browser on your Android device, go to whatsapp.com/android and tap on the “Download Now” button to start downloading the WhatsApp 2.12.398 APK file to your Android device.
Finally, you will need to use a file manager application, head to the location where you’ve saved the APK file and tap on it to start the installation process of the latest WhatsApp BETA version.
