The annual MAX conference held by Adobe in San Diego is taking place this week, and we can expect Adobe to release new details about their Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop or Premier. People are also expecting the new tools for Adobe Experience Design to presented at the event.
Project Felix
The new Adobe update is going to bring a new tool and the Creating Cloud applications are also receiving some tweaks as well. The design tool that Adobe is launching with the update is Project Felix. Project Felix will give its users, mainly graphic designers the option to combine 2D and 3D objects.
Photoshop CC
Adobe is bringing innovating features to Sensei, the AI framework of Photoshop. Users of Photoshop can now use a new universal search bar that lets them search trough Adobe Stock with a lot more ease, and find the picture they need. What makes this feature special is the fact that the user can select a portion of the photo and have Adobe Stock look for similar photos of the selected portion. This can also work with collages.
After Effects
This update will bring a brand new 3D rendering engine to After Effects. The new engine is going to render 3D elements at a higher speed now. Another video software, Premiere, is also receiving a feature included in this Adobe update. The software is going to have better support for VR content and also for Character Animator. The Pro version of Premiere is going to have its video sharing across multiple platforms be optimized so it works smoother.
Spark
The story telling app is getting a few minor updates. One of the updates is going to get is the ability to remove all branding that Adobe has put in the app, keep in mind that this feature is available only for paid creative cloud members.
