The latest iOS 10 update that Apple has released had its fair share of bugs and Apple has taken note of that. Because of this reason Apple is releasing a new iOS 10.2 beta update that is available for all iOS users. Social media was filled with complaints regarding Apple’s latest update for the iOS 10, and Apple had to answer accordingly.
In response to all the feedback Apple has received, they released the new iOS 10.2 patch but this patch has also came with a completely new set of problems. The Apple devices that encountered problems with the new patch are iPhones, iPads and the iPod touch.
The main problem reported by iOS users is that while the installation process is still loading up, the device freezes and it cannot be used any more. There is a simple solution that can help the user unlock their locked device. All the user has to do is to press and hold down the home and power button simultaneously and the device will automatically reboot. Owners of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus model can forcefully reboot their smartphone by holding down the power and volume down button simultaneously.
Other problems reported by Apple device users are issues such as battery drain or Bluetooth pairing problems. The Touch ID feature can also be a little slow some times, and the devices seem to randomly reboot themselves from time to time. These do not seem like simple bugs, but more like serious problems.
The new update for iOS 10 can be downloaded after the user joins the Beta Software Program. Apple device users that are interested in joining the Beta Software Program should read the FAQ’s before joining to get an idea of what they should expect.
Apple device owners should keep in mind the fact that the new iOS 10.2 update is still in its beta form. What this mean is that they need to wait a little more before the update rolls out to all iOS devices.
