It seems that the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones have been received very well by the consumers, as according to the latest reports, the big search engine company has managed to sell over 2.1 millions units of the mentioned device until now.
This news comes after the fact that Google has struggled in the past to keep the two devices in stock due to their popularity. We have to agree that 2.1 million is not a big number when you compare it to other big manufacturers such as Apple or Samsung.
However, let’s not forget that the Pixel devices are sold only in a few regions around the world, while both Apple and Samsung are selling their products in almost every country around the globe.
We remind you that analysts have predicted last year that Mountain View Company will be able to ship about 3 million Pixel devices by the end of 2016. Unfortunately, this prediction has turned out to be false.
According to some new estimation, Google will most likely be able to ship up to 6 million Pixels handsets by the end of the 2017. We remind you that the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are manufactured by HTC. The two devices are considered by many the best smartphones that have been released in 2016.
To make things even better, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL have been rated to feature the best camera smartphone of all time. Well, this will probably change sometime soon, as the manufacturers will start launching their flagships in the following months.
