Samsung has released in January 2017 two smartphones that come with some impressive specifications at a decent price. Today we will compare the Galaxy A3 2017 and Galaxy A5 2017 and let you decide which one of them suits your needs better.

The Galaxy A3 2017 measures 135.4×66.2×7.9mm and weights 138 grams, while the Galaxy A5 2017 has 146.1×71.4×7.9mm and weights 157 grams. Both phones have a glass and metal construction and come in colors such as Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.
Displays
The Galaxy A3 2017 comes with a super AMOLED display of 4.7-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 312 ppi. On the other hand, the Galaxy A5 2017 has a bigger super AMOLED display of 5.2-inch that supports a higher resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 424 ppi. Both displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The Galaxy A3 2017 features a Exynos 7870 Octa chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, a Mali-T830 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy A5 2017 has a slightly better Exynos 7880 Octa chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.9GHz, a Mali-T830MP3 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A3 2017 has an internal storage of 16GB, while the Galaxy A5 2017 supports 32GB. However, both devices come with a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the storage memory up to 256GB.
