It’s cool that Microsoft doesn’t require anything specific for joining the scheme.
But remember: the Redmond tech company advises you no to run beta release on your main computer as there is a high risk for bugs.
All you need is to follow these steps:
- Get to Settings app in Windows 10 > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program > Get Started
- Windows will then walk you through the whole process, and then you’re good to go. You’ll have to reboot and the Insider Preview builds will automatically start rolling to your computer.
- You have to pick an Insider level so go back to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Insider Program.
- The Fast Ring gets you the latest updates, the Slow Ring is your safest option and the Release Preview option will only install preview updates in Microsoft applications from Windows Store.
There’s another way of getting the Creators Update: install the ISO files directly. You just have to download and mount them with Windows 10 Files Explorer. You’ll then be able to access setup.exe – the miracle file that installs Windows 10 creators Update on your computer.
Anyway, remember that this is not the final version of the Creators Update, and more updates and patches will definitely be revealed before the official release. However, if you decide to give it a go, good luck and stay away from bugs!
