Enthusiast gamers who were impressed with Mass Effect: Andromeds’s cutscene exclusive firearm, X5 Ghost Weapon, will be pleased to find out that it might also be included in-game as fully-functional. Until now, the rifle has only appeared in some cutscenes, but it hasn’t been available to be really used by gamers. The game got a lot of feedback and the most of the positive reviews include the players’ desire to use this stylish rifle.
BioWare claims that this might happen in the future. The game’s lead designer, Ian Frazier, was asked on Twitter where can this particular rifle be found in the huge open-world environment from Mass Effect: Andromeda. He answered that, at least for now, the weapon can only be found only as a prop for cutscens. Fortunately, he also announced that the possibility of turning it into a usable firearm for a future patch is being investigated at the present time.
Gamers have also expressed their desire to use the AAX5 weapon in the game, but we’ll just have to wait and see if this is possible.
Mass Effect: Andromeda has received a lot of feedback consisting of mixed reviews, and gamers’ reactions have led BioWare to release a statement last week saying that the game’s developers are now gathering information, and that they’re also planning solutions to improve the game.
Andromeda was released last month on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and managed to score 6/10 in GameSpot’s Andromeda review. Scott Butterworth reviewed Andromeda as a “vision half-fulfilled” with an impressive content, but also with a fluctuating quality.
We’re still not sure about what to expect in the following updates that BioWare is planning to release, but, according to the developers, it seems that fans won’t have to wait much longer until the updates and patch fixes land in the game.
