Previously, Microsoft has teased fans that they are going to share some big news on June 11, at the E3 2017 event. As such, people are expecting Project Scorpio, which is the next product in the Xbox series, to be unveiled then.

Microsoft at the E3 2017

Phil Spencer, the Xbox head, has recently declared that the company will be focusing more on games at the E3 event. Windows Central has released some reports saying that this happens because the unveiling of the Xbox Project Scorpio will take place before the event, and we might even see if next week.

Games to look forward to

The report published by Windows Central showed that the team had a partial list of the games in 4K that Microsoft planned to bring to Scorpio. One of them was Forza Motorsport 7, this being the headline title for the video game console. The latest game in this series will come in 4K resolution, so presumably it will look amazing.

There are some other first-party games waiting to be played, such as Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2, but we will also enjoy third-party ones: Call of Duty, Madden, FIFA, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Could we see it next week?

Windows Central came back with a follow up report which showed that we might even see the product details as soon as next week! Naturally, this piece of news got everybody excited. Officially, the details and specs should be revealed on April 6, but we will have to see if we can’t find them out sooner. People are anxious to find out if the Scorpio will run 6 teraflops and as such, if it will be more powerful than the rival PlayStation Pro 4, which only offers 4.2 teraflops.
