It seems that the Android 7.0 Nougat update is already being tested on the Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 2016 devices. The owners of the mentioned devices should get prepared, because according to reports, the official update will be released for their smartphones sometime in May 2017.
We remind that the update was expected to be released this month, but it was delayed for some reason, which has not been mentioned. If we look at the previous schedule, the Galaxy A3 2016 was expected to get the update on April 24, 2017, but now it appears to get it in the first week of May 2017.
When it comes to the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 2016, it seems that it take a bit longer, as reports are suggesting that these two smartphones will finally receive the Android 7.0 Nougat sometime between May 22, 2017 and May 28, 2017.
However, these are not some exaggerated delays, but we’re pretty sure that many owners of the mentioned devices are very excited to finally see the new Android OS version running on their smartphones.
The Android 7.0 Nougat comes with many new features and options. First of all, you will notice the split-screen mode, which will allow you to run two applications at the same time without having to leave any of them. At the same time, the Doze Mode feature will keep your device “alive” for a longer period of time, by making sure it uses less power while this feature is active.
The notifications have been redesigned in Android 7.0 Nougat and they are now bundled, with the possibility to quickly reply to them. You will also notice that the System UI Tuner is back and that you can customize the Quick Settings feature.
The Android 7.0 Nougat is also faster than the previous version of this operating system and you will surely feel that once it gets installed on your mobile device.
