The latest tech headlines are shuddering with rumors about the upcoming flagship smartphones Nokia 9 and OnePlus 5, as they’re highly anticipated by fans. This is mainly because the premium smartphones might have high-end specs, but their prices might not increase to a great extent.
Anyway, we expect them both to be unveiled pretty soon, but until then, check out what we’ve learnt so far.
Design & display
There’s nothing much we can let you know about Nokia’s design, but OnePlus 5 might come with a ceramic build. Rumors also say that OnePlus might choose an all-glass design just to make sure the new flagship is going to be as “premium” as possible.
Regarding the display, Nokia 9 is said to be arriving with a 5.5-inch QHD 1440 p OLED and OnePlus 5 might boast a 5.5-inch dual-curved edge QHD 1440 p AMOLED display, quite similar to the ones already released by Samsung.
Software & innards
As flagship phones, both of them are expected to use the latest Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and also 6 GB RAM for hi quality multitasking. Both smartphones might come out in 2 variants regarding their storage capacity: 64 GB and 128 GB.
Again, both of them might run on Android Nougat.
OnePlus 5 might feature a 23 MP main camera and a 12 MP selfie one with wide-angle lens, and Nokia 9 is expected to sport a 22 MP dual-lens back camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and a 12 MP front one.
IP68 rating is a vital feature for smartphones, especially if we’re talking about flagships. Both Nokia 9 and OnePlus 5 might arrive with IP68 rating for increased dust and water resistance.
And that’s about all we can tell you for now about the two unannounced flagships, but once they become official, we’ll return with a more complete review.
