PlayStation 5 To Be Released In Two Models With VR Headset

TNH Staff · April 6, 2017 · Leave a Comment

We have to agree that the PlayStation 5 will not be revealed sometime soon, but it seems that Sony is already preparing to showcase its latest consoles during the E3 2017 event that will be held in June 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

However, it seems that some rumors and leaks about the PS5 have already surfaced all over the internet. According to them, the PlayStation 4 successor will come with some impressive specifications and features.

First of all, some rumors are suggesting that the GTA 6 will be actually one of the first games that will be released for the PlayStation 5. The GTA 6 is expected to be released sometime in 2020, which means that the PlayStation 5 could hit the stores sometime in 2019.

According to reports, the PlayStation 5 will also come with a VR headset, as the PlayStation 4 had a real success in delivering VR experiences. In fact, there will be two variants of the PlayStation 5, each of them having a bit different specifications (not major ones).

Sony knows that it doesn’t need to “fight” with the Xbox Scorpio, which is expected to be released soon. Instead of doing that, it will focus on releasing a brand new console in about two years that will probably crush once again Microsoft’s consoles.

We remind you that Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro comes with some impressive VR experience and thanks to the recent update it is now able to play games at 4K resolution. While the picture is sharper, the console is still not able to render native 4K content.

The console is being sold very well and this is another reason why Sony will not force its hand now to bring a new console sometime soon. The PlayStation 5 will probably come with fixes for a few issues that the PlayStation 4 Pro has such as the 4K Blu-Ray player feature.

Do you think that the PlayStation 5 will be announced during the E3 2017 event?
