Recently, the popular Xiaomi company released a new tablet in China. The device wears the name Mi Pad 3 and it was recently listed on the official website. Naturally, fans all over the world were excited about the new release. But what features will the new device offer?
New Tablet Specs
The device will sport a 7.9 inches display, packed with a 2048×1536 pixels resolution. Besides, it will run on a 2.1 GHz hexacore MediaTek processor, paired with 4 GB RAM. The internal storage is a 64 GB one, which sadly cannot be expanded, since there is no memory card slot. Moreover, you will also get a 13 MP back camera, and a 5 MP one on the front for great selfies.
It will come with Android 6.0 and it will use a 6600 mAh battery. Needless to say, it is compatible with the standard 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, v4.10 Bluetooth and USB OTG connectivity options. The device comes with a lot of sensors incorporated, such as the Compass Magnetometer, an Ambient light sensor and, of course, the GPS.
More Details about the Tablet
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 weighs 325 grams and it comes in the Champagne Gold color. It comes with a headphone jack of 3.5 mm, but sadly it does not include lots of features, such as Flash, touchscreen, NFC, Gyroscope, Infrared, Barometer or a Temperature sensor. It is indeed a minus that the device does not include all this, especially given the price. On the company site, you can see the tablet listed for a price of $389.99, which is not that cheap.
Even so, many people seem to be excited about the new release and are planning to buy one soon. The feature that seems to impress most people is the hexacore SoC, together with the battery.
