The world famous Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is only a couple weeks away and that’s where every major tech company is going to unveiled their latest gadgets, software and other innovations. Honda, the famous car manufacturer, is also one of the companies that attends CES every year and fortunately, we already know what to expect.
Honda Created Four Robots
Honda is no stranger to robots, the company has been meddling with this type of technology for years now and therefore, no one should be shocked to find out that Honda is getting ready to unveil four new robots during CES. The most interesting about these little robots is that Honda says their sole purpose is to help humanity. Also, worth mentioning is that one of the robots is an autonomous, off-road buggy.
Futuristic Design
As everyone already knows, Honda has a reputation for creating some of the most innovative designs, both with cars and with tech gadgets. However, Honda outdid itself this time because these little robots are downright adorable. The aforementioned autonomous buggy even has a smiley face.
Autonomous Buggy
Even though Honda just wanted to reveal the concept pictures, the tech giant abstained itself from revealing important information such as their hardware specs or features. The only thing we know right now is that the adorable buggy is codenamed as 3E-D18 and that it is equipped with an Artificial Intelligence assistant which will help people go through their daily activities.
Companion Robots
The coolest thing about Honda’s new set of mini robots is that they are specially designed to serve as companion robots. What we mean by this is that they will have “compassion towards humans” and that they will feature facial expressions such as smiling or frowning. Nonetheless, the CES event is not that far away and that’s when we will finally get to see the plethora of features that Honda has chosen to equip these robots with.
