You Can Use Facebook Messenger Without A Facebook Account

When the popular social media platform Facebook chose to move its messaging feature to a new mobile app, there were a lot of comments made about it. Most of the comments were positive, and it’s allowed people from across the world connect with family and friends through chats and calls. Facebook’s messaging app is called Messenger. 

Messenger has ensured its services have gone to another level, especially with Facebook developing an application that’s designed for messaging features only. Users can send all kinds of media content, stickers, GIFs and videos in messages. It also offers new features such as control over your visibility with contacts and secret messages. 

People who want to deactivate their Facebook account but still want to be connected to with their family and friends can use Messenger without a Facebook account. 

Messenger Updates For iOS and Android Software 

Android users are often sent Messenger updates to improve the user experience. The latest Messenger download for the Android system happens this month (April 2018). It will let users review their prior call history and messaging in one location. Additional bug fixes were carried out to deal with problems the app has had. 

iOS may or may not see an April 2018 Messenger update. Apple users who use the application to tend to see regular updates that enhance their user experience. Apple advises users to reduce their GPS usage to stop the unnecessary drainage of the device’s battery life. 

How To Attain Messenger’s Latest Update 

Users can download and install Messenger with the newest updates through any reputable app store like Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store. The application can also be manually downloaded and installed through another reputable Internet site.
