If you have yet to upgrade your computer operating software, you may be wondering if you can still upgrade it. Thankfully, you can. You can still download the latest Windows 10 version to your computer. How do you do this?
You’ll need to look for an ISO image file that can be burned to a DVD or a USB flash drive. You’re not breaking any of Microsoft Corp. legal rights by doing this, so don’t worry too much about that.
Option 1
This can be done by going to the official Windows 10 download page. Type in the following link microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/ to hit the Download Tool Now button that will start the Windows 10 file download.
You’ll now need to run the MediaCreationTool.exe – an executable file that comes with the latest Windows version. The installation wizard will help you proceed with the installation.
Option 2
Another way to download Windows 10 is through the ISO image, which can be found on the main page of Windows 10 Setup. You’ll be asked to read over the terms of license and hit the Accept button to continue.
Choose the “Creation Installation Media for Another PC” button and hit “next” to start the downloading. You’ll have to check the architecture, edition and language for the ISO image file.
Use the default options to install the file. If you uncheck the “Use Recommended Options for this PC,” you’ll need to edit everything yourself.
Go for the “Choose Which Media to Use” screen and hit “ISO file.” Hit Next to proceed. Pick the Windows 10 USO image file you have and save it immediately to start the downloading process.
By doing this, you have a legit Windows 10 version, allowing you to save the ISO file to a DVD for later use.
